‘An extraordinary yoga teacher. Not only in terms of improving your practice through detailed (but somehow non-intrusive) instructions, but also his wisdom and serenity. Head and shoulders above the rest.’

Joe works with organisations, groups and individuals to improve physical and mental health and wellness. He uses physical movement and neuroscientific tools like meditation and breath-work to improve concentration, manage stress, optimise health, and guide spiritual advancement. He has taught over 4,500 hours of classes.

Joe’s teaching is friendly, positive and engaging. He guides students to develop a state of heightened awareness, from which they can move through life with less worry and anxiety and more steadiness, ease and joy. Practising meditation helps develop a calm and stable mind and improves our ability to cope with challenges. With regular practice, Vinyasa helps create a strong, flexible, and healthy body. Joe wants students to realise these benefits with his clear and supportive teaching.

He is dedicated to becoming the best Yoga teacher he can and has been called one of the best Yoga teachers in London. Joe trained at Sangyé Yoga School with Cat Alip-Douglas and Phil Douglas. He has also completed an apprenticeship with Cat, and a Yoga Alliance certified Advanced Teacher Training.

Involved in physical activity throughout his life, Joe previously competed internationally as a skier, worked as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor and has an HND in Sports and Exercise Science and a BA (Hons) in Communications. See more about Joe’s background on LinkedIn.

Joe is registered with and insured by Yoga Alliance and is a qualified First Aider.
